 About

Georgia Houry (b. 1975, Athens) was born to a Cypriot–Lebanese father and a French–Hong Kongese mother. A mother of three daughters, she is currently based in Cyprus. She holds a BA in Psychology and an MA in Fine Art from Falmouth University.

Houry works across painting, drawing, mixed media, video, and writing. Her practice is rooted in feminist and confessional approaches, exploring identity, memory, womanhood, and generational narratives. Blending psychological insight with artistic expression, she navigates the thresholds between autobiography and archetype. Her multicultural heritage and lived experience inform a body of work that is intimate yet universally resonant.
